HERE'S HOW TO DO IT THE FIRST TIME YOU TRY THEM ON!
There are a few tricks you should know before trying on your NOOH NOOHs for the first time. For short chaps, follow steps 1 and 3.
- STRETCH THE SHAFT
Our material is stretchy in the shaft, so it’s important to stretch the shaft before putting on your boots. Simply pull on the unzipped shaft to allow the material to widen. - STOMP YOUR FOOT INTO THE BOOT
Once your foot is in the riding boot, stomp down so that your foot slides all the way to the toe. This will make it significantly easier to zip up the boot and reduce the risk of the zipper getting stuck on your sock. - TAKE IT SLOW, DON’T RUSH
It's important to remember that our material adapts to your leg, and with the help of your body heat, it will expand. Therefore, if the boot feels tight, it’s crucial to zip it up in stages. Zip it until it stops, then let it rest for a few minutes before continuing to zip it up. Once the boot is fully zipped, wear it for a while. You can certainly ride in your boots right away.
Thanks to the material, the boot will now be tailored to your leg, and even if it felt impossible at first, you've likely found the perfect size!
FIT GUIDE
IS THE RIDING BOOT TOO SMALL OR LARGE?
We can often resolve fitting issues in the foot by sending you new insoles and/or a heel wedge. If the boot feels a bit too large, a thicker insole will help; if it’s slightly too tight, a thinner insole will solve the issue. Please contact us BEFORE returning the boot, as the problem can often be easily fixed with new insoles.
You can try removing the insole at home to check how much extra space you have. If you have a thinner insole at home, feel free to use that as well.
IS THE RIDING BOOT TOO HIGH?
The most important consideration is that the boot should not be too low; it’s better if it’s too high. If the boot feels a bit too high, we can send heel wedges for initial use.
HOW SIGNIFICANT IS THE SIZE DIFFERENCE?
Generally, if you go up one shoe size (e.g., from 39 to 40), the boot will be 0.5 cm higher and 0.5 cm wider in the calf. Conversely, going from 39 to 38 will result in a boot that is 0.5 cm lower and tighter. If you have a size 39 2 HIGH and it feels tight, moving to a 39 3 HIGH will give you a width difference of about 1.5-2 cm. This can be significant if the boot feels slightly tight. If you cannot zip the boot at all, you should go up a size in the calf.
If size 39 2 HIGH feels tight in the foot but fits perfectly in height and width, we can change your insole for more space without altering anything else. Since we will be using a thinner insole, the boot may be slightly taller, but if that’s not desired, a heel wedge can help.
WANT TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER SIZE?
If you want to exchange for a different size, please contact us first so we can reserve the other size for you. If you're in a hurry, we recommend placing a new order and returning your other pair, as this is quicker than waiting for your return before sending the exchange.
