WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

WE DON'T SHIP AIR

In our effort to be as environmentally conscious as possible, packaging and transport are important factors, and we refuse to ship air.

By that, we mean that all our shipments are as compact as possible. Typically, when manufacturers export boots, only six pairs fit in each box. However, our boots are shipped rolled, both from the factory and to you as the customer. This allows us to fit three times as many pairs of boots in each box.

This convenient way of rolling the boots also means you can store them rolled up when you’re on the go, eliminating the need for bulky boot bags.

AN INVESTMENT THAT LASTS

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"We've pondered the reasons behind the use of traditional leather in riding boots and haven't come up with a satisfactory answer. It's likely that manufacturers haven't considered alternative materials or have been unable to produce them. Old traditions and the mindset of \"it's always been this way\" may also play a role.\n\nThe stable environment is challenging in many ways, and it's something we cannot change. There will always be ammonia in a horse's urine, and mucking stalls is a constant task. The paddocks will often be muddy, and the outdoor arenas will be wet."}]},{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Leather is an excellent material, but it should be used in the right contexts. Bridles are a perfect example where we WANT the leather to break if the horse steps on the reins or gets caught in the cheekpiece. However, with riding boots, we DO NOT want them to break or dry out due to being in an environment for which the material isn't designed.\n\nThere's a reason why older men often put galoshes over their expensive leather shoes when it rains. We don't mean to suggest that men are smarter than women; rather, it is widely known outside the equestrian world that leather and moisture do not mix well.\n"}]},{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"A riding boot is a significant investment and should last a long time. By creating a product that is MADE FOR wetness and moisture, we aim to contribute to prolonged usage and, consequently, reduced consumption."}]}]}

RECYCLED RIDING BOOTS TURNED INTO NEW PRODUCTS

Here, you can see granules made from recycled riding boots. Unlike traditional leather, which cannot be recycled in the same way, we, as the world’s first equestrian brand, offer you the opportunity to recycle your worn-out riding boots, allowing you to make a difference.

HERE’S HOW TO RECYCLE YOUR RIDING BOOTS

1 | SEND YOUR BOOTS BACK

When you have worn out your riding boots after long use, you can send them back to us.

2 | RECEIVE A DISCOUNT CODE

Once we receive your boots, you will be emailed a discount code that you can use to purchase new riding boots.

3 | THE BOOTS ARE GROUND DOWN

The boots are ground down into granules in southern Sweden.

4 | A NEW PRODUCT IS BORN

From the granules, we create a boot hanger that's perfect for the saddle room, trailer, or horse transport.
